A decade in telecommunications

Eric is a 10-year veteran of the US telecommunications industry. Eight of those years were spent at AT&T, working directly with small business owners on voice, data, mobility, and unified-communications deployments. AT&T built the foundation of his industry knowledge - and gave him a lasting passion for helping small business owners get more out of the technology they pay for.

While at AT&T, Eric was recognized for sustained top performance and operational leadership: a five-time Best of the Best Award winner, seven-time Achievers Club qualifier, AT&T Leadership Development Program graduate, and Subject Matter Expert for Mobility. He led a Call Center support team for three years and piloted internal training programs.

Independent, by design

As an independent technology broker, Eric is no longer aligned with any single carrier or platform. He has the freedom to recommend solutions across every major US carrier and hosted-PBX provider - chosen on fit and value to the client, never on commission alignment. Why I built VettedCalls

Over the last several years, robocall volume in the United States has reached record highs. As a solopreneur running my own brokerage, I watched it become a daily nuisance - hours lost to spam, real customer calls missed, and a growing concern that carrier "Spam Likely" filters were starting to flag legitimate small-business numbers.

The market response had been clear but incomplete:

VettedCalls was built to close that gap. It was designed from day one for the operator running their entire business from a cell phone - giving back the time lost to spam, restoring a little of the thrill of answering an unknown call (knowing a real person is on the other end), and keeping the simplicity of running everything from one number.
